The Phrase "Favorite Japanese Restaurant" Became a Movement

Have you ever stumbled upon a major opportunity through social listening? I have and let me tell you, it made me view influencer relationships in a new light.  After discovering a prominent phrase in our Social Media Command Center, I coordinated a quick-turn VIP experience for The Young Bucks and Cody Rhodes to visit the Fridays HQ Test Kitchen. We caught some behind-the-scenes content to share with their fanbase and our community. The niche community of wrestling fans and the existing TGI Fridays community overlapped, which the Team and I discovered through an analysis using Netbase Quid, an analytics and social intelligence listening tool.

The relationship blossomed from there resulting in The Young Bucks and Cody Rhodes inviting Fridays to sponsor their first indie wrestling pay-per-view in Schaumburg, IL called ALL IN, which sold out in under 30 minutes. We also coordinated a pre-show Meet & Greet event at TGI Fridays (Schaumburg, IL) where we hosted 100 TGIF and Wrestling fans to enjoy some quality time and appetizers with their favorite stars. This weekend would also be the unofficial launch of All Elite Wrestling, the newest wrestling league in America giving the giant, WWE a run for viewers and talent.
